Studio 1
Studio 1 is our largest and most comprehensive studio.
At the heart of Studio 1 is a 16 channel Rupert Neve Designs 5088 mixing console combined with a 12 channel 1980s AMS Neve V-Series Sidecar. Our Neve sidecar began its life at the BBC before being purchased by Australian rocker Billy Thorpe for his home studio. We’ve also got 4 x AMS Neve 4081 preamps (16 pres in total based on the Neve 1081).
We have an outboard gear list made up of many industry standards such as the Neve 33609, LA-2A, 4 x 1176’s, Neve 1272’s, Avalon 737 SP, 4 x Distressors etc. Our analogue equipment helps add silky harmonics and great ‘warmth’ to sounds before being captured by our high quality audio to digital converters.

Studio 1 has its own private entrance, a kitchenette with a fridge, coffee machine, dish washer and microwave. There is also a private outdoor area with a BBQ which many bands use!
